E-book of metacognitive learning strategies: design and implementation to activate student’s self-regulation

Abstract ICT-based learning provides opportunities for teachers and students to learn digitally, as well letting the become autonomous learners. One of efforts actualize such typical mode is provide digitalized media, e-Books. An e-Book metacognitive strategies aimed train students’ skills that emphasized self-regulated in order make them This study was objected describe designing, implementing, evaluating a process. The designed using ADDIE development model used during innovative I course 84 biology at Universitas Negeri Surabaya. data were analyzed descriptive-qualitative approach. results showed e-Book’s validity very good category. It also conveyed level 15 readability according responded with positive response 96%. Other findings depicted outcomes self-regulation Hence, e-Books had potential be digital training self-regulation.
